Mat Ollig
Mat Ollig is a Twin Cities artist who attended the Accademia di Bella Arti in Florence, Italy, and is an alumnus of MCAD, and the Perpich Center for Arts Education; where he currently serves on the Board of Directors. Mat's other work can be seen at the MN State Capitol, in the Minneapolis Hyatt Regency's lobby, private dining room and the guestrooms, the Millennium Hotel's clubroom, as well as the entire collection of the Ogletree Deakins Lawfirm in downtown Minneapolis. Mat and his work have been featured on the Curious North podcast, the Star Tribune, Herald Journal, and Lodging Magazine.
Mat's paintings explore digitally composed neo-cubist compositions, inspired by local landmarks of Minnesota's past to investigate computers, image appropriation, and traditional means of painting.
We are very excited to be carrying four of Mat's limited edition prints!
